The project developed by QualityFry has received funding from the Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Framework Programme, promoted by the European Union under agreement 805754.
On 25th and 26th of April, QualityFry participated in the SME Instrument Phase 2 Welcome Day conferences. They took place in Brussels and brought together the beneficiary companies of this European Union programme dedicated to promoting research and innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises which develop technologies and products focused on productivity, efficiency and sustainability.
QualityFry was present at EQUIPHOTEL 2018, the essential event for professionals of the hotel and restaurant trade in Paris. From 11th to 15th November, visitors to our stand at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles could see how our ecofry technology works, which forms part of the project SME Instrument Phase 2 within the Horizon 2020 Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
The Quality Innovation Award (QIA) 2018 which QualityFry received along with 7 other Spanish companies recognises the ecofry technology as a pioneering technological innovation applied to a traditional culinary process. This technology will represent Spain in the international phase of the competition in Beijing 2019.
Frying 4.0: innovation, technology and automation for health and sustainability, is the title of the conference that Rocío Teruel Gutiérrez, R&D Food Product Manager of Qualityfry, will offer on April 11 at 10.00am in the XXII Conference on Practical Nutrition to be held within the next edition of the XII International Congress of Nutrition, Food and Dietetics. Both the Conference and the Congress will be held at the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid.
On December 3 at the Casa de la Ciencia in Valencia, QualityFry participated as a collaborator in the Science, citrus and cooking workshop. The event was attended by the president of the Higher Council for Scientific Research (CSIC), who attended the opening ceremony where several Spanish chefs of renowned prestige elaborated tasty dishes with citrus.
