QualityFry and Redopetrol: a new business unit

Rodopetrol incorporates QualityFry as a business unit at its service station

The offering of hot food at service stations has become a key element in improving the customer experience and generating new business opportunities. In this context, Redopetrol, located in Bahía Blanca (Argentina), has chosen QualityFry technology to expand its food offering in an efficient, safe, and profitable way.

Together with our distributor Baires Cocina, we visited their facilities to see firsthand how the incorporation of the QualityFry iQ635 model has transformed their daily operations.

A solution designed for the real pace of a service station

Florencia, owner of Redopetrol, highlights from the very beginning the speed and ease of use of the equipment. The iQ635 model allows working with up to 6 products simultaneously:

  • 2 products cooking

  • 4 products waiting inside the hopper

This capacity greatly facilitates service during peak times, which are common at service stations, where waiting time and operational agility are decisive.

In addition, the equipment is very intuitive, allowing staff to learn how to use it in a very short time, without the need for complex training or specialized technical profiles.

“When they realized it was just pressing a button, the product goes down and comes out in seconds, we realized that was exactly what we needed”

Consistent quality with no flavor mixing

Redopetrol works with onion rings, French fries, nuggets, croquettes, and a wide variety of products. One of the most valued aspects for Redopetrol is the quality of the final result. Thanks to the vapor absorption system during the cooking process:

  • No flavor mixing occurs

  • Food comes out dry, crispy, and perfectly cooked

  • Consistent quality is guaranteed in every preparation

This makes it possible to offer a varied menu without compromising flavor or the end customer’s experience, even when cooking different products consecutively.

“It wasn’t the same in an air oven”

Speed, safety, and peace of mind for the operator

Safety is another key point highlighted by Florencia. The equipment’s design minimizes operator contact with hot oil, allowing staff to work with complete peace of mind and without the risk of burns.

The speed of the process is also remarkable: products are ready in just a few minutes, improving service times and optimizing staff work, especially during peak hours.

“We were afraid the staff might get burned or face some risk. With this machine, we solved all of that”

Plug & play: no installation or construction required

The iQ635 model is a plug & play unit, which has been a major advantage for Redopetrol:

  • No installation required

  • No extraction hood needed

  • No gas connection required

All that’s needed is an electrical outlet to start working. This makes it possible to implement a hot food point without construction work, complex procedures, or delays—something especially valued in environments such as service stations.

“Installation was very easy: it arrived, we installed it, and we started using it right away”

Simple maintenance and optimized oil consumption

Maintenance has also been a very positive experience. The equipment features a daily filtration system, making oil changes simple and manageable without interfering with daily operations.

The tank can be disassembled piece by piece, and most components—except the heating element—are dishwasher-safe, enabling quick and efficient cleaning.

In addition, the iQ635 operates with only 5.5 liters of oil, which is filtered and reused, allowing for a significant reduction in consumption and better control of operating costs.

“Five and a half liters of oil […], knowing it can be reused if filtered properly. It can be reused one to three times, and you don’t have such high oil consumption”

A true business unit

For Redopetrol, the QualityFry iQ635 is not just a kitchen appliance—it is a business unit in itself. It allows them to offer high-quality hot food, expand their service offering, and generate a new revenue stream without significantly increasing operational complexity.

This success story shows how QualityFry technology adapts perfectly to retail environments and service stations, helping businesses to:

  • Optimize processes

  • Improve profitability

  • Deliver a better customer experience

Technology that adapts to real business needs

Redopetrol’s experience in Bahía Blanca is a clear example of how QualityFry provides real solutions to today’s foodservice needs. Efficient, safe, and easy-to-use equipment designed to operate from day one—without construction work or complications.

At QualityFry, we continue working alongside our distributors and clients to transform everyday spaces into profitable, modern hot food points ready for the future.
