In an innovative step towards transforming the shopping experience, Carrefour has introduced a groundbreaking solution at its Antibes supermarket in France, captivating its customers in the fishmonger section. Thanks to the installation of two iQ 635 Carrousel machines from QualityFry, in collaboration with our distributor Biogalta, a revolutionary concept has been implemented. This live-cooking approach combines freshness, quality, and technology to offer freshly prepared fish directly in the supermarket.

Innovation in quality service 

The idea behind this project was clear: to provide customers with a direct, high-quality gastronomic experience in just 2:30 minutes. Laura from Biogalta explains: “We have created a turnkey stand concept where fresh fish is prepared directly in the supermarket. We take the fish, coat it in flour, place it in the iQ 635 Carrousel, and in 2:30 minutes it’s ready. Finally, we keep it warm in the display trays so customers can choose their product, ready to consume.”

The iQ equipment from QualityFry enables quick, safe, and efficient cooking of a wide variety of products while ensuring exceptional quality and preserving the natural characteristics of the fish.
