QUALITYFRY, in collaboration with Ajo Gastronómika,presented its FAST CHEF ELITE smoke and odour-free fryer at the Taste of London festival,one of the most important gastronomic events in Europe which takes the latest gourmet creations to the heart of British and international culture. Held in Regent’s Park, London, from 17th to 21st June, Taste of London attracted over 55,000 visitors in 2015 and brought together over 60 renowned chefs from restaurants all around the world.
We presented the FAST CHEF ELITE automatic fryer to chefs, prestigious British gastronomy businesses and the growing London foodie market, giving them the opportunity to taste gourmet-quality fried foods created by two young chefs who have worked in Andoni Luis Aduriz’s Mugaritz restaurant (2 Michelin stars, Errentería, Spain) and René Redzepi’s Noma restaurant (Second Best Restaurant in the World 2015, Copenhagen, Denmark).
At the Taste of London stand,the young chefs who used the FAST CHEF smoke-free fryer to prepare their dishes and the clients who tasted them both valued the speed of service, texture and quality of the fried food and stability of the frying process. However, what they appreciated most of allwas the chance to offer eco-friendly cooking in a smoke and odour-free kitchen.
The businesses that participate in Taste of London stand out for their innovative and entrepreneurial spirit in the culinary sector, as is true of our partner Ajo Gastronómika. The event represents a great networking opportunity for companies in the sector but also offers a chance for direct contact with gourmet consumers who are interested in gastronomy: food lovers (68% aged between 25 and 44)* with high purchasing power (average annual income of £98,800)* who eat out at least twice a month (83%)*.
For catering companies, up-and-coming restaurants with new business models based on affordable quality products, Taste of London offers the resources and foodservice equipment (such as FAST CHEF) that they need to ensure the success of their formula, which combines good cooking with profitability.
