QUALITYFRY COLLABORATES WITH THE EMERGENCY AID COMMITTEE FOR UKRAINE

The Spanish company QualityFry has joined the Spanish Emergency Committee as a collaborator, made up of the NGOs Aldeas Infantiles SOS, Educo, Médicos del Mundo, Oxfam Intermón, Plan International and World Vision, which continues to support people who have fled from Ukraine.
QualityFry has launched a program with all its employees(both from the Madrid and Bembibre headquarters) to encourage donations to the Spanish Emergency Committee. The company has committedto donating double the amount raised by the entire workforce.
The tasks of the Spanish Emergency Committee include the distribution of hygiene material, medicines, family reunification and educational and protection activities for displaced children.
According UNHCR,there are already more than two million people who have crossed the borders of Ukraine to countries such as Poland, Romania, Moldova or Georgia, fleeing the armed conflict.
After the Spanish Emergency Committee call to action to collaborate jointly in the humanitarian crisis, half a million euros have already been raised, which have been directed to the Committee’s NGOs,experts in organizing responses in crisis contexts and covering all the needs that arise in emergencies. Some of them were already working in Ukraine and neighboring countries before this crisis began and are used to work in conflict environments.
Given the evolution of the conflict, the Spanish Emergency Committee continues to alert citizens of the need for financial donations,contributions that are key in managing this global crisis.

The Emergency Committee has enabled different ways to send aid and be able to provide a faster and more effective response to meet the current needsand those affected by the crisis in Ukraine. In this way, NGOs will be able to raise funds more effectively and help as many families as possible to flee to neighboring countries.
