QUALITYFRY: growth, capacity and experience

This year has started with positive signs of evolution for QualityFry. We increased production, expanded the staff and moved to the new offices in Calle Albasanz – Madrid.

New Business Development Director at QUALITYFRY

We strengthened the Steering Committee with the creation of a Business Development department and the incorporation of Beatriz Heras Paz-albo as director of the area. In his new position, Heras will be part of the Management Committee and will report to the company’s CEO, Javier Toral Nistal. Heras Paz-albo has participated in more than 100 B2B technology implementation projects. “I was looking for an exciting project in which I could contribute with my experience in business growth and QUALITYFRY meets the requirements,” says Heras Paz-albo. For his part, Javier Toral has indicated that the incorporation of Beatriz Heras Paz-albo is another step towards the consolidation and professionalization of the company.

Graduated in ADE (Tourism specialty), Master in Tourism Consultancy ULPGC and SEP from IMD (Laussane), she has led multicultural and multifunctional teams in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, in multinationals from various leading sectors in their markets.

Steady growth over time

With its production center of 1000 square meter in San Román de Bembibre, León, QualityFry increases the volume of manufacture of its automatic smoke-free and odor-free equipment for the FoodService sector, which has also led to an increase in the workforce of its workers. The growth of its production responds to an increase in demand and a diversification of sectors. Looking at the international market, the company  has increased the share from 8% to 44% in sales so far in 2021, which means up to +36 points versus 2020. Regarding the national market, the growth is linked with the local laws to dispense with extractor hoods or smoke vent in hospitality activities.

In this way and due to the projections of the launches of new products, which respond to new trends in the market, the factory in León has needed to reinforce its workforce. Today, the production consist on the manufacture of six different iQ models of professional fryers with multiple characteristics to provide professional solutions in different sectors such as: retail, horeca, gas stations, hotels, bakery coffee, catering services and convinience stores.

The innovative technology developed by the company, EcoFry, and incorporated into its equipment provides a solid benefit to users, reducing energy consumption by 24% and oil consumption by 27%, which also implies a low fat intake for the consumer.

New Main Offices

The Spanish company of reference in the design and manufacture of automatic frying technology without smoke, without odors and without mixing of flavors, opens its new main offices. The new offices are in a glass-enclosed building in a glass building in one of the best locations in Madrid. The move from his old office marks the end of a five-year history and the beginning of a new future for the company. This decision is part of the company’s Strategic Plan, reflecting the evolution it has experienced in recent years, so that its extension and capacity can be increased.

The new QUALITYFRY corporate office –which has the central offices and the R+D laboratory– is located in the Ciudad Lineal district, which has a direct connection to the airport, the A-2 highway and the ring roads M-30 and M-40. In addition, it has excellent access to the center of Madrid by public transport.
